Meet the Team

Deneshia Simpson, LPC Co-Founder

Deneshia is a native of NWA, having been born and raised in Fayetteville, AR. Deneshia graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. She received her Master's degree in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. She worked 10+ years in a community mental health setting providing care to individuals of all ages in individual, relational, group, and family settings. Deneshia works with mental health and emotional issues ranging from mood disorders, depression, anxiety, multicultural/race issues, self-harm, trauma, grief, behavioral disorders, and marital/relationship distress. Deneshia has worked in school settings, therapeutic day treatment, and private practice settings.

Joi is from the south suburbs of Chicago and a current Northwest Arkansas resident. She has a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has worked in the mental health field for the last 8-years. She works with couples, adolescents, youth of all ages, and adults. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and domestic violence. She has worked in a domestic violence agency/shelter, school base counseling, college campus counseling center, a grief counseling center, and the private practice setting. She has worked collaboratively with several community organizations in Northwest Arkansas to further her passion in advocating for the social and emotional well being of BIPOC communities.
